چکیده
The research was carried out to determine the yield, yield components, quality, and stability of bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) genotypes in heat-stressed water-limited environments for two years. ANOVA GGE biplot analysis were applied differences relationships investigated traits belonging 10 different varieties. While grain (GY) is associated with thousand-grain weight (TGW) test (TW); protein ratio (PR) found be positively correlated heading time (HT) number spikes per square meter (SN). Besides, spike (SW) negatively PR, HT, graph showed that PC1 explained 83.67% variability proportion attributed PC2 16.33%. cultivar Kate A-1 most stable genotype, according it could visually determined from together explain 100% variability. In terms quality characteristics examined, Tahirova 2000 passed other It concluded Anapo varieties can used yield-oriented breeding studies, while Karatopak as parents purposes.

Evaluation of growth, yield, relative performance and heat susceptibility of eight wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) genotypes grown under heat stress
Eight spring wheat cultivars were evaluated under three heat stress conditions (early, late and very late) in order to identify suitable cultivars to develop heattolerant genotypes resistant to future global warming. Results from the study indicate that stress did not negatively affect flag leaf area in ‘Prodip’ and ‘Sufi’, flag leaf dry matter partitioning in ‘Prodip’, ‘BARI Gom-26’ and ‘S...
متن کاملThe impact of terminal heat stress on yield and heat tolerance of bread wheat
In arid and semi-arid regions of the world bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) yield is highlylimited due to late season heat stress, mostly occurring during the reproductive phase. Hence thecurrent study was conducted to evaluate the effect of late season heat stress on grain yield andyield components of 20 spring bread wheat cultivars. For this purpose, a stripe block experimentincluding four ...
متن کاملEvaluation of some physiological and biochemical characteristics of bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) genotypes under salinity stress
Since about 20% of the world's arable land and 50% of productions in the world are subject to salinity stress, it affects all stages of plant life from germination to seed production. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of salinity stress on physiological and biochemical characteristics of some wheat cultivars. For this purpose, a factorial experiment was conducted in a complete...
متن کاملDifferential Physiological Responses of Portuguese Bread Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) Genotypes under Aluminium Stress
The major limitation of cereal production in acidic soils is aluminium (Al) phytotoxicity which inhibits root growth. Recent evidence indicates that different genotypes within the same species have evolved different mechanisms to cope with this stress. With these facts in mind, root responses of two highly Al tolerant Portuguese bread wheat genotypes—Barbela 7/72/92 and Viloso mole—were investi...
متن کاملInduced defence responses of contrasting bread wheat genotypes under differential salt stress imposition.
Plants, being sessile in nature, have developed mechanisms to cope with high salt concentrations in the soil. In this study, the effects of NaCl (50-200 mM) on expression of high-affinity potassium transporters (HKTs), antioxidant enzymes and their isozyme profiles were investigated in two contrasting bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) genotypes viz., HD2329 (salt-sensitive) and Kharchia65 (sal...
